Non-Pressure Roof Cleaning:
Your shingles have limestone in them which the algae feeds on, and when it rains it spreads the algae down the roof causing black streaks. This algae is a hardy type of algae that can grow in all types of conditions. It likes to grow on the north facing side of the roof because it gets lots of shad. This is NOT good for any roof. You should inspect your roofs shingles regularly looking for any damage like shingles missing, Leaves sitting in one place, Black Streaks, Moss, Likens, Branches. Your roof needs to be able to breath, and have sun light on it, your shingles are on there for a reason. When you have black streaks on your roof it can raise your electric bill, Damage your shingles, Lower your property value, Spread to other areas of your roof. But there is a solution (Non-Pressure Roof Cleaning) Don't replace it Clean it! When a roofing Contractor wants to sell you on replacing it because it has black streaks on it and it's dirty Don't do it! There is no need! Cleaning your roof for a fraction of the cost will save your roof and help it last longer. Your roof should last 10 years or more. Cleaning it is recommended.

Our mix is recommended by the ARMA (Asphalt.Roofing.Manufacture.Association) When we clean your roof it won't void the warranty. In fact if your roof is still under warranty you can get it cleaned for free. Years ago we used a Pressure Washer to clean roofs. This is still being done today, this is not a good way to clean a roof nor is it safe. Yes it can be done but if done wrong can lead to replacing your roof. There are to many ways it can harm your roof if done the wrong way. Pressure Washing your roof WILL also void your warranty. Non-Pressure Roof Cleaning is the safest way and most effective way to clean a roof.

Choosing a Contractor:
When you get an estimate for roof cleaning ask about there equipment and how they apply the cleaner. What type of cleaner to they use. This may seem pointless but if not done right it can kill your plants, landscaping and more. This should be done with a low pressure pump about 90PSI. This will apply the cleaner evenly over the roof letting the cleaner work properly. They should also use a big tank about 200gal for the cleaner. we use more cleaner on roofs because if it is to strong can cause your shingles to shrink and curl. Our cleaner is safe for plants, Pets, People it is put on weak layers so it does it's job right. Some will just put it straight on causing damage to your roof. Make sure they are insured and have licenses for that county if needed. Ask for references, Don't always go with the lower price. Look at there website and read what it says. Do a Google search on that company.

Low Pressure House Wash:
